It was a significant programme in as much as it manifested innate talents of the students of the college. The cultural evening was attended by so many eminent persons including Rev. Fr. Jose Palely, Provincial Economer and the Former Principal of DBC, four German friends from Germany, 26 principals from well known colleges of the country, members of governing body of the college, sister and fahters.

The programme started at 6.00 pm with a prayer led by Rev. Fr. Varghese, SDB, the Director of HRC. There were number of items presented by various Hostels of the College. The first item was a choir, sung by the boys of DBC Boy=s Hostel which was followed by welcome speech and presentation by Rev. Fr. P.O. Sebastian, Rector of DBC , Maram.

The show was made all the more thrilling by the wonderful performance show by the students of the college. The most wonderful performance was an orchestra, performed by the DBC Boy=s Hostel Maram. There were other items like Manipuri Dance, Choreography, Western Dance, Nepali Dance, Skits etc. The cultural evening programme was really a remarkable one as everybody was thrilled and touched by it. The audience was kept spellbound for three hours with excellent music, cultural dances and dramatic dialogues. The programme came to an end with a vote thanks proposed by Sr. Stella Thomas SMMI. We are indeed happy to have spent our time in a fruitful manner that evening. Kudos to our Principal, Fr. Benny James for giving us yet another opportunity to expose our talents and skills. We do appreciate his organising skills and meticulous planning. Thank you dear father principal.
