The Silver Jubilee of Risen Christ Church, Bosco Ashram, Ponnur in Andhra Pradesh, was celebrated on August 18, 2021, with a gathering of priests, religious sisters and the faithful from various sub-stations. Don Bosco Youth Centre, the educational-recreational hub in Shillong, has turned into a Corona Care Centre for those infected by Covid-19. The Centre became functional on May 6, 2021, under the leadership of its director Father Michael Makri, and assisted by five lay collaborators and the members of the Salesian Family, the Salesian Sisters (FMA) and the MSMHC Sisters. The Centre provides essential services to the post-Covid-19 patients who have completed the Covid-19 treatment from different hospitals.. Read More

The 12th Asia-Oceania online Regional Congress of Don Bosco Past Pupils marking the 150th anniversary of the World Association of Past Pupils concluded on June 26, 2021. The two-day event focused on Salesian Delegate, Young Past Pupils and Networking. Delegates and members from 23 out of 28 countries of the region participated. Father Joseph Abraham Maniyangattuthazhe, a great missionary and evangelizer, passed away on June 6, 2021, at Vijay Marie Hospital, Hyderabad.
