Don Bosco Anbu Illam Girls Win Nari Shakthi Trophy 2022

Chennai, Mar. 18. Don Bosco Anbu Illam-HCL Foundation U-18 girls team marked another success in the football tournament by winning back to back the Nari Shakthi Trophy 2022 at the International Women's Day celebrations.

Nari Shakthi Trophy 2022, a five-a-side Football Tournament conducted in Chennai, had nine teams from Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Tirupattur. In the title clash between Don Bosco Anbu Illam and Mohagany, Don Bosco Anbu Illam won the match in a 3-2 tiebreaker. For Don Bosco Anbu Illam - HCL Foundation U-18 girls team, the victory marked a great success by winning back to back the third Nari Shakthi Trophy 2022. In addition, the best goalkeeper, the top goal scorer of the tournament and the best player awarded to Smirthikumari, Nishanthi (7 goals) and Keerthana, respectively, from the Don Bosco Anbu Illam Team.
