Yercaud, Jun. 15. Together with Don Bosco Jugendhilfe Weltweit, The Retreat - Don Bosco and Dr Suresh, Managing Director of SKS Hospitals Pvt. Ltd and a Past Pupil of Don Bosco, the Shevroyhills is breathing ease at this testing time of COVID19
Now, there is no shortage of oxygen, and its supply is in abundance for the people of Shevaroyhills in Yercaud. The cylinders are sourced from various places and supplied for COVID CARE CENTRE in Yercaud. Father A. Raj, the Rector of The Retreat -Don Bosco, handed the oxygen cylinders to the Block Medical Officer of Yercaud.

With the support of DON BOSCO JUGENDHILFE WELTWEIT (JuWe, Switzerland), The Retreat - Don Bosco in Yercaud has been intervening in the lives of the tribal people to tackle the COVID19 crisis.

A 100-beds COVID CARE CENTRE, established with initiatives by The Retreat-Don Bosco, is a well-deserved care centre for the people who otherwise would have to travel 40 to 80 kilometres through the tough mountainous road to reach Salem town where government care centres are functioning. The care centre had 70 Covid positive persons, and now, there are 28 persons.
