Album by Dianetious Fernandez, Guwahati Province (ING)

Shillong, September 9: Col. Edward Michael Fincke, a NASA Astronaut and commander of Expedition 18 to International Space Station (ISS), visited St. Anthony`s College on the 9th September, 2009. The Live interactive programme was organized by the College and was coordinated by FASS (Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters) under aegis of the Department of Education, Govt. of Meghalaya. The programme was held in the College Auditorium, amidst a group of dignitaries of the state. Among those present were, honorable Minister of Education: Mrs. A.M. Lyngdoh, Chief Secretary: Mr. Ranjan Chatterjee, Principal Secretary of Education: Mr. P..S. Thangkhiew, Dr. S.I. Ahmed and Shri B Barkakoti, Members of Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters (FASS) and other dignitaries. Students from various schools and colleges of the state were invited to this rarest of the rare occasion for a   live interaction with the Astronaut
