Glimpses of the Cultural Day at Don Bosco College, Itanagar
Don Bosco College, Itanagar celebrated the cultures of Arunachal Pradesh though its celebration of the Cultural Day on 22nd November. Mr. Nani Tamang, Assistant Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Arunchal Pradesh was the chief guest for the occasion.

The students of the college celebrated their cultural identity by coming to the college in their full traditional attire. The vast majority students of the college belong to the various tribes of the state. Some of them are Nyishi, Apatani, Golong, Adi, Tangsa, Tutsa, Tagin, Wancho, Minyong, Monpa, Wancho, Nocte, etc.

Fr. Sebastian Karottupuram, the principal of the college, during his welcome address said that the day was set aside to feel our cultural identity and to celebrate it. He welcomed the guest and participants of the occasion.

Mr. Nani Tamang, assistant Registrar of the Rajiv Gandhi University, addressing the students said, ``such occasion as a cultural day celebration and fashion shows are important in the college because it give the students and opportunity to display their talents and learn from the talents of others.`` He also exhorted the students to participate actively in the co-curricular activities to develop their talents which will be useful in the future.
