Athirvugal, a Tamil Nadu youth film movement, hosted its monthly seminar on the topic Youth and Media on 9th February 2008, at DBICA. More than 80 youngsters participated in the seminar. A group of resource persons, viz. Mr. C. Azhagappan, Film Director, Mr. Watson Solomon, Professor of Journalism, Rev. Fr. John Christy SDB, Dr. R. Suramani, a Media Research Scholar addressed the audience under different topics. The talks were interactive and participatory. The talks were followed by a fruitful floor discussion.
