To foster a sense of social service and discipline, Don Bosco, Egmore   conducts the Scouts and Guides programme. The members of the primary section are designated as Cubs and Bulbuls. As part of the Golden   Jubilee year of Don Bosco Egmore, on 8th March,   Annual Dance competition for the Cubs and Bulbuls was inaugurated with an intention of promoting social harmony and preservation of our cultural heritage in the young minds, at Don Bosco Primary School premises. Rev. Fr. Sagayaraj SDB, the Correspondant, Rev. Bro. John Borg SDB, the Chief Guest, and Mrs. Susan, the Head Mistress were present for the inauguration. On the following day, a valedictory function to mark the conclusion was presided over by Rev. Fr. K.M. Jose, the Vice Provincial. Colourful items performed by Cubs and Bulbuls was a feast to the eye. The winners were rewarded with trophies.
