Don Bosco, Egmore, Inaugurates the Golden Jubilee

The august evening of 30th January, 2008 was the inauguration of the GOLDEN JUBILEE of the school. Fifty glorious years of dedicated service to the young imprinting its golden history on the sand of time is a matter of pride for all the students, the staff and the salesians.

The inaugural function of the golden jubilee celebration was presided over by Mr. Paritii Ellamvazhithi, Honourable Minister for Information and Publicity, Government of Tamil Nadu, Prof. Dr. Naganathan, Honourable Vice-chairman of the State Planning Commission, Mr. Nanjil Kumaran, the commissioner of Police, Chennai, Most Rev. Dr. Lawrence Pious, the Auxiliary Bishop of Madras, Rev. Fr. Stanislaus Swamikannu, the Provincial, the Province of Chennai and the former Rectors and the Principals of Don Bosco, Egmore.
