A Job Meet was organized in ‘The Citadel’ on February 04, 2005 for 460 jobless youngsters of the Tsunami affected areas of the Ennore zone, comprising Ennore, Kasimode and Royapuram areas. Rev. Fr. Bellarmine sdb inaugurated the Meet and encouraged the youngsters to make optimum use of opportunities that are available through the initiatives of the Salesian Province of Chennai. Rev. Fr. John Bosco sdb, the Director of Vazhikaatti welcomed the youngsters and briefed about the training programmes
Don Bosco Rehabilitation Service - Chennai		Don Bosco - Bagalur recently witnessed the inauguration of the New Building block for the boys’ home, the laying of the foundation stone for the new church of Mary Help of Christians and the celebration of the feast of St.John Bosco.
TRIPLE CELEBRATION IN BAGALUR		15th January 2005 saw a unique meeting taking place at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, in Vellore District, of Tamil Nadu state in India. Salesian House, Tirupattur, housed the Aspirantate up to May 1968. From June 1968, the aspirantate is functioning at Don Bosco, Tirupattur. The Alumni of Salesian House, Tirupattur met for the first time since the inception of the Institution
TPTians’ Rendezvous 2005
On 26th November 2004 thirty-five leaders of INM communities came together at the Citadel, the Salesian Provincial House. The morning sessions were animated by Fr./Dr. Clive Hurley SDB, while the afternoon session on ``Varia`` was chaired by the Provincial.
The two Volunteers of Don Bosco, Miss Kulandai Teresa Arulanandhu and Miss Usha Kumari (Gabrina), pose immediately after their Profession that took place at the INM Provincial House Chapel, on Dec.5, 2004.
The new church of the growing Salesian parish of Thennankudi in construction under the supervision of Fr. David Job and Fr.Arokiadass Susai. The new church is to be ready by April 2005.
Students of the Dominic Savio School, San Thome, enact scenes from the life of the Teenager Saint on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his canonisation.
The last building of the supposedly rest-house of Lord Robert Clive in our Ennore compound near the backwaters being knocked down in October 2004 for space-management and to give a face-lift to the surroundings.
To raise funds for the entrepreneurship programmes for the poor youth of Tamil Nadu and to explain the many works of Vazhikaati, Fr. Bosco met our Rector Major at the Pisana, Rome, on Novemebr 8, 2004.
A frontal view of the new building of the Don Bosco B.Ed College of Education at Thamanangudi (Karaikal) thats to start in the next academic year.
