Kolkata, Sep. 7. KOLKATA - In a month`s time (11 October 2012) the long awaited YEAR OF FAITH proposed by Pope Benedict XVI in his apostolic letter Porta Fidei will commence faith journeys in parishes and dioceses around the world. Present below is a master plan for year-long celebration of faith at Auxilium Parish Kolkata, prepared by parish priest Fr K.K. Sebastian and Pastoral Animation Team.

``Faith Year`` solemn inaugural function at all six Mass centres of the parish:
- At Auxilium Parish Church on 11th Oct. 2012 at 5.30 pm: Flag hoisting and Holy Mass
- At Motijheel Church on 13th Saturday Oct. 2012 at 6.00 pm + night vigil ....... Do.....
- At Dhapa Chinese Chapel on 14th Oct. 2012 at 8.00 am .........do .........
- At Don Bosco Nitika Chapel on 14th Oct. 2012 at 8.30 am: ......... do .........
- At Hatgacia on 15th Oct. Monday 2 012 at 5.00 pm ............do.......
- At Katgola and 3 No. Bridge on 16th Oct. 2012 at 4.00 pm .............. do...................

Faith Events 11 October 2012 to 24 November 2013.

1)Faith Miracles from the Bible at Auxilium Theatre on 4th November at 5.00 pm

2)Fancy dress competition at Auxilium Parish on 25th Nov 2012 at 5.30 pm

3)Bible Friends` meet at Auxilium Parish Hall on Dec.2nd 2012 at 5.00 pm

4)Christmas Celebrations at Park Circus Maidan on 25th & 26th Dec. 2012 at 5.00 pm. And 27th at Auxilium Theatre at 5.00 pm.

5)Faith procession day for the youth: 20th Jan 2013 at all sub-station Churches

6)Faith shared with all religion through drama, skit and dance on 10th Feb 2013 at Auxilium Theatre at 5.00 pm

7)Musical day: Vocal and Instrumental on 17th March 2013 at Auxilium at 5.30 pm .

8)One day faith formation retreat at respective centres.

9) Gospel Songs by Youth Groups: on 1st June 2013 at Auxilium Theatre at 5.30 pm.

10) Bible Quiz for families: Zone - wise. In the month of May 2013. (Each zone will choose a convenient day for the quiz.)

11) Revision of catechism with the families: Zonal leaders will fix the dates.

12) Films on faith formation: To be screened at all centers. Zonal leaders will fix the dates.

13) Preparation for adult baptisms.: All the Saturdays of July, August, Sept. 2013.at Aux. Church.

14) Daily one hour Adoration by voluntary groups for the success of ``the year of Faith``. From 11th Oct 2012 to 24th Nov 2013.

15) Essays, Poems, Drawing, Painting competition: on 15th Aug. 2013 at Aux. Church.

16)``Faith Day Celebration`` for the Poor, Sick and Aged of the Parish: On 26th Sept. 2013 at Auxilium Parish.

17)Presentation of Personal Testimonies of Faith Experiences. On 8th Sept. at Aux. Hall at 5.00pm

18)``Fill India with Faith`` Prayer and Adoration day for all at Aux. Parish. On any Oct. Puja days.

19)``Faith Tree``- Celebration for Auxilium School Children: 5th Sept. 2013

20)``Faith Walk`` to other Churches in the City of Kolkata by the youth.

21)All Faith Meet: Oct. 13th 2013 at Auxilium Church.

22)Pilgrimage Tour:
1) Holy Land Pilgrimage
2) Veilankanni shrine - Tamilnadu
3) St. Alphonsa shrine - Kerala,
4) St. Francis Xavier - Goa
5) St. Thomas the Apostle - Madras-Mylapore

23)Faith Year Concluding Function, 27th October 2013: Solemn High Mass and fellowship gathering.
