If you refuse to leave your mothers` apron strings it can spell trouble for your marriage. It all starts innocuously enough , the childhood adulation, the excessive fawning and the works, once the boy enter their adolescence the mother wants to still cling on. You might enjoy the adulation of your mommy dearest, but eventually this could be a matter of discontent once the wife comes into the picture.

There is nothing wrong in being mummy`s pet as long as it is a healthy bond where there is room for personal space. It is only when the bond becomes a binding tie that it begins to choke. When the boy brings home a girlfriend or a wife the problem begins.

The mother-wife situation to be quite tricky. Both have an important place in a man`s life. But since a mother is wiser and has an experience she should understand that after a certain age she should give her son the liberty to give priority to his wife and allow him to concentrate on his family.

Mothers love and wife`s love are two different things. Both have their own place and one must not step into the territory of the other. Clinging love of the mother and son can play havoc with the relationship between the man and his wife. Women who share a good relationship with their husbands are less likely to hold on to their sons and also emotional fulfillment and a good career helps such woman.

Many a time, the problem arises when the mother intrude the privacy of marriage. A mother who really wants the well-being of her son will feel happy and proud to see her son acquire autonomy. She will let him grow up and lead an independent happy family life. SO WOMEN BE A GOOD MOTHER TO YOUR MARRIED SONS
