Tiruchy, Jul. 8. The demise of Fr. N.I. John is like adding more sadness to already grieving heart. The Province of Trichy was just recovering from the sudden and unexpected demise of Fr. Amala Joseph, a young and dynamic Salesian, in a gastly accident. Now the death of Fr. N.I. is even more heart breaking.

Fr. N.I was suffering from lack of Blood cells for quite some years, yet he was always cheerful and had a positive attitude towards life and salesian community spirit. One would always remember him as a Venerable elderly salesian who carried himself with impeccable gaiety.

I personally remember him for his Chastity Good nights. Though at times these good nights used to be irritating and boring, today as I look back I understand the importance of persistent insistence on Chastity.

Dear Fr. N.I. we would miss you... more so the venerable wise man.

Adieu from all of us, young salesians
