Chennai, May 15 Veteran Salesian Past Pupil and former Tamil Nadu State Police Band Master Mr. Devasagayam, expired on May 15, 2012 at St. Isabel`s hospital in Chennai. He was 87. George Plathottam, sdb - Secretary, CBCI (Catholic Bishops` Conference of India) Office for Social Communications has been appointed as the new Director of NISCORT (National Institute of Social Communications Research and Training). This was decided at the CBCI Standing Committee meeting in Bangalore on April 25-27, 2012. Fr P. D. George (AFE) passes away in Kerala
Special Correspondent, Apr 21 Fr P.D.George (Padinjareparambil) who was earlier a member of the Salesian Province of Dimapur passed away, following a massive heart attack, on the morning of April 19, 2012 at Kanjirappally, Kerala. Fr George was currently a member of the East- African Province and was on vacation in Kerala, visiting his family. SPCSA Training Programme for Young Salesian School Principals
