`International Salesian Bulletin Editor`s Meet` at Pisana, Rome

Special Correspondent, May 17 The meeting of the Editors (direttori) of the Salesian Bulletins got underway at the Salesian Generalate - Pisana, this morning and will conclude on May 20, Sunday. 41 Salesian Bulletins are represented. A significant number of lay people who assist with or produce the Salesian Bulletin issues are also part of the proceedings. Two Indian Salesians - Fr Yerramaneni Balaswamy and Fr Ashok Kujur - representing the Telugu and Hindi editions, are also part of the meet. George Plathottam, sdb - Secretary, CBCI (Catholic Bishops` Conference of India) Office for Social Communications has been appointed as the new Director of NISCORT (National Institute of Social Communications Research and Training). This was decided at the CBCI Standing Committee meeting in Bangalore on April 25-27, 2012.
